SOME FACTS OF BIOGRAPHY

  • 1999, US Government granted special visa status for "Persons with Extraordinary Achievements and Abilities."
  • 1998, First Prize. First Laureate of the First Ukrainian International Competition for Composers, which thereafter, under the rules of competition, bears the name "Evgeni Kostitsyn International Competition for Composers".
  • Author of a new method for the organization of musical material, known as Synchronous Music, representing musical compositions which unfold concurrently, parallel to each other. Each such composition comprises its own unique musical material, texture, principles of development, and forms. This method leads to a new aesthetic and new musical style.
  • 2001 - Book - "Music, Before and After Synchronous"  /manuscript/.
  • Author of over 50 musical compositions representing the Synchronous Music style.
  • Musical interpretation of the eurythmy forms by Rudolf Steiner.
  • 2000, Foundation of CDK /Compact Disc Kostitsyn/ Music in USA.  Major product of the company is licensing.
  • 1993, Translator and publisher of the first textbook on Dodecaphony in former Soviet republics, currently in use in virtually all CIN conservatories. Translated from German into Russian.
  • 1995 - 1996, Project Manager for Kyrgyzstan, Die Deutsche Welthungerhilfe, an international humanitarian organization under the auspices of the President of Germany, Roman Herzog.  Duties included fundraising for important philanthropic organizations, lobbying government agencies and authorities, interfacing with key decision makers in the region and around the world, and the coordination and implementation of programs.
